Autograph letter signed from Anna Jameson, Grove End Road, St. John's Wood, to W.C. Macready [manuscript], 1839 July 3 Thursday.

A letter speaking in great admiration of Macready's Henry V, which he played at Covent Garden with conspicuous success, and asking his reasons for his resignation of the management of that theater. Jameson requests that he give Mrs. Macready a copy of her 'Country Cousin.'
